PVC Converse: Do or Don't?
Before you pop on these stunners, you should make sure you have a pedicure, some foot powder, and probably a toe ring. Am I right?

Mary Meyer Spring 2010
Mary Meyer just released her Spring 2010 collection and obviously I want a significant portion of it. I miss the triangles I so loved last season, but this chevron pattern is a good replacement (and still basically a triangle, really). The black on black short dress is perfection, but I sort of want to try a long dress. Thoughts?
(Full disclosure: my love for the collection is influenced by the model's topknot.)

Jewelry Class: Wax Casts
Here are a few pics from the wax casting jewelry class I'm taking at Lena Corwin's studio with Jennifer from Odette New York. Lena hosts all kinds of different crafty and creative classes at very reasonable prices, definitely check out her schedule!
The crystal formation in the top pic is mine as well as the ones in the little baggies in the second pic. Then, there are my awful iPhone pics (even though I have a nice camera). My pieces are crystals and shark parts. I can't wait till they're all finished and I can wear my sweet shark tail earring.

No6 Clogs Spring 2010 Lookbook
I don't have to tell you that clogs are so in, or that No6 has been doing clogs for years before Chanel got their eye on the wooden clunkers. I will tell you that the gold peep-toe strappy version is absolute perfection and that their new moccasin style is pretty cute too.
How do these stack up against my other favorite clogs?

Miu Miu Nails Part II
I painted my nails lavender like the color Mrs. Prada used in the Fall 2010 Miu Miu show. I did Essie Ballet Slippers (hello 7th grade French mani!) underneath an OPI shade to create a sort of reverse French. It sort of looks sort of like my nails have been growing out for weeks and it it looks sort of cool. Below that are some of my other favorite looks from the collection. She's always more perfect than I could imagine.

Brooklyn Botanical Garden: The First Taste of Spring
These are the pics from our weekend trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It was the first day New York experienced even a hint of warmth, so everyone was out to enjoy it. The gardens are perfect for that because they are secluded, pristine, and feel a million miles away from the city. Even though it wasn't actually warm and it isn't blooming season, there were some nice glimpses of green. My favorite part by far was the bonsai room. The little trees are incredible and maybe worth a full post later.
After the gardens, we walked across Prospect Park to visit Paul's new restaurant, The Double Windsor in Windsor Terrace.
Mark took all the pics, obviously

Rachel Comey Margiela-esque Sandals
I love these Spring 2010 Rachel Comey shoes. She always does uniquely chic and feminine shoes that have something just a little bit funky about them. This season she took a page out of Margiela's book for the cut-out wrap-around look.
